Nursing diagnoses, results, and interventions in the care for Covid-19 patients in critical condition

ABSTRACT Objective: To develop and validate a terminological subset of the International Classification for Nursing Practice COVID-19 patients in critical care. Method: This is methodological study, which followed guidelines Brazilian method, using Basic Human Needs as theoretical model. Content validation was performed by 25 specialist nurses Delphi technique. Results: A total 73 diagnoses their respective nursing results were prepared. Of these, 62 statements had Validity Index ≥ 0.80, with need oxygenation having highest number statements. 210 interventions developed, after suggestions from experts, 150 reached an index 0.80 comprised subset. Conclusion: The developed showed that validated and, therefore, are relevant to nurse's clinic care scenario associated Covid-19.
